Welcome to The Box Coffee Bar

The Box Coffee Bar opened in July 2015 at 202 N. Main Street in Downtown Victoria. We are on the corner of Santa Rosa and Main Street and within walking distance to many of downtown’s finest establishments. We are open 7am - 7pm on Monday-Friday and 8am -5pm on Saturday. We often extend our hours for downtown events such as Bootfest and other festivals, concerts, block parties, and parades so be sure to check in with us on Facebook for updates. 

For years, owner John Valdivia, originally from San Antonio, had wanted to open a coffee house in downtown Victoria, TX. He developed a love for coffee while in college, and an appreciation for the harvest while traveling throughout the Honduran, Guatemalan, and Salvadoran coffee growing regions.  He first got the inspiration for the Box Coffee Bar while attending classes at Nuova Simonelli’s offices in Ferndale, WA. “It seemed the landscape was dotted with very small drive-thru coffee bars” he often remarked. And while walking around larger cities such as New York and San Francisco, where both space and coffee are in high demand, he observed the efficient use of space. 

We are a 144 square foot building that previously housed a walk-in ATM. After several months of construction, we have fit everything we need to be a full-service espresso bar. See our menu for all of our offerings.
